Notices for Welding of steel floor grating

1. At each intersection of load flat steel and cross bar, it should be fixed by welding, riveting or pressing lock.
2. Pressure resistance welding or arc welding are preferred in the welding of steel floor grating.
3. The pressure lock of the steel floor grating can be fixed by pressing the cross bar into the loaded flat steel by a press.
4. Steel floor grating should be processed into various shapes according to the needs of users.
5. The spacing of the load flat steel and the spacing of the cross bar can be determined by the supplier and the demander according to the design requirements. As an industrial platform, it is suggested that the spacing of load flat steel should not be greater than 40 mm and the spacing of cross bar should not be greater than 165 mm.

In the end of load flat steel, flat steel of the same specification as load flat steel should be used for edge wrapping. In special occasions, profiled steel or baffle can be used directly to wrap the edge, but the cross-sectional area of the baffle should not be less than that of the load flat steel. One-sided fillet weld with weld height not less than the thickness of load flat steel is used for edge cladding. The weld length should not be less than 4 times the thickness of load flat steel. Under the condition that the edge cladding plate does not bear the load, it is allowed to weld one place with 4 load flat steel spacing, but the spacing should not be greater than 150 mm. When the edge cladding plate is subjected to load, it is not allowed to weld at intervals, and it must be fully welded. The end and side plates of staircase pedals must be fully welded on one side. The edge cladding plate in the same direction as the load flat steel must be welded with each cross bar. If the notches and openings in the steel lattice plate are equal to or greater than 180 mm, the edge-wrapping treatment shall be applied. Stair pedals with front edge guards must run through the whole step. The load flat steel of steel floor grating can be plane flat steel, type1 flat steel or longitudinal shear strip steel. The load flat steel of the steel grille can be provided with teeth to increase the anti-skid force of the steel floor grating. The size of the teeth is shown in Figure 2. No less than 5 teeth per 100 mm. The minimum width of the steel floor grating on the toothed size platform shall not be less than 300 mm.
